Welcome to Speak Freely Counselling

Seeking the help of a counsellor may be difficult and a daunting experience.

Counselling enables you to talk freely about anything without any judgment but with understanding and empathy.

Sometimes life just takes over, so much so that we are unable to make time for Ourselves to stop and think.

Counselling is not about give advice but to help you gain more clarity around the issues you are facing and become more aware of your choices.

Through listening carefully and reflecting back to you what is seen, heard and felt, you can begin to reflect on your own thoughts, feelings and experiences. On where you have come from, who you are, and come closer to what you want to achieve in life.

WHAT IS COUNSELLING
Counselling is a process which supports you to understand your situation, what you want in life, make decisions and act on them. Counselling is not about giving advice.
THE FIRST SESSION
The first session is free. Your reasons for seeking counselling and how counselling can support you will be discussed. At this point there is no commitment to ongoing coun- selling, you decide how many sessions if any you would like to commit to.
SESSIONS ARE CONFIDENTIAL
Be assured that your counselling sessions are completely confidential. Any felt risk will be discussed with you. You will not be judged nor will you be told what to do.
COUNSELLORS ARE MONITORED
By working under an ethical code of practice, counsellors are overseen by a supervisor, who makes sure they are working with the best interests of the client in mind at all times.
